Speculation is mounting that former Walsall boss Richard Money is to be unveiled as the new Luton Town manager later today.
The Luton Website has issued a statement saying a formal announcement is to be made at 1pm to name the new Blue Square Premier outfit's manager.
If it is 'Dickie Dosh' he will replace Mick Harford who departed Kenilworth Road by "mutual consent" early last month.
Money is an ex-Hatter, having played 45 games in the 1982-83 season.
Money took over following Walsall's relegation to League Two and against all odds guided us to an unlikely title. After a slow start the following League One season and a series of personell changes Money built a side which strung together a remarkable unbeaten run which placed the club in the top 4 at New Year. Following key departures of Daniel Fox and Scott Dann (moments before the transfer deadline) in January Walsall slipped down the league to mid-table, but it would still have to be remembered as a good season. Once the play-offs were not possible, Money resigned in April 08.
