Leicester aim to keep Fryatt

Leicester City boss Nigel Person has told of his determination to keep striker Matty Fryatt at the Walkers Stadium.

Fryatt, who scored 27 goals last season, has been linked with a £4 million move away from Leicester with Hull reportedly keen on taking the player to the Premier League.

The 23-year-old has 3 goals in 6 games this season and it is thought Hull are not alone in tracking Fryatt.

Pearson told Radio Leicester:

"He's a very important member of our squad and we want to keep hold of our best players,"

"He's played a big part in the season so far and I'd like to think he will play a big part in the season."

In our linked article below, from Tuesday, Walsall would receive a sell on fee if he did move away from the Walkers. Although it looks as if Leicester are not looking to sell ... but we've heard clubs say this in the past days before selling a player. Are they trying to push his value up?
