Ishy injury could not have come at a worse time

Ex-Walsall winger Ishmel Demontagnac has admitted his injury setback could not have come at a worse time after sustained a hamstring injury in last week's 4-1 win over Wigan in the Carling Cup.

Ishy will now be sidelined for up to six weeks, which serves as a huge blow after he had begun to show glimpses of his undoubted talent.

He told his club's official website:

"I was really disappointed because it was my first start in a long time and I was just getting in to the best shape I've been in for quite a while,"

"To get injured was a real setback but I just have to get on with it and try and get back soon.

"Roughly I'm going to be out for four to six weeks but you've got to make sure you're right and not rush back for a certain game. The last thing I want is another setback."
