Iffy back in football

Gillingham have brought former striker Iffy Onuora back to the club as first-team-coach.

Onuora was a fan's favourite at Priestfield during his two spells as a player.  He will now assist manager Ronnie Jepson and assistant-manager Mick Docherty.

After leaving his position of Assistant Manager at Walsall, Onuora returned to Swindon Town in a similar role. He was later named caretaker manager towards the end of 2005/6 season but unable to save the club from the trap door.

He left the Swindon last summer when Dennis Wise was appointed as manager and Gus Poyet as his assistant. Iffy spent last season as a matchday summariser for BBC Radio Kent's
