Frank Barlow to Hull

Last updated : 28 June 2006 By Andy Van Hagen
Frank Barlow has been confirmed as the caretaker manager of Hull City.
After replacing Iffy Onoura as Paul Merson's assistant manager, Barlow quickly left to join Gary Megson at Nottingham Forest. At the time he cited the reason he wanted to move nearer to his Chesterfield home (A long way from Hull!!).

After Megson left the City Ground last season Frank Barlow was named joint caretaker manager, where he achieved great success. He remained on the coaching staff under new boss Colin Calderwood but Forest have given permission for talks to take place between Hull and Barlow.

Hull lost manager Peter Taylor to Crystal Palace recently and want Colchester boss Phil Parkinson as his replacement but no agreement has yet been reached, as Colchester are refusing to accept his resignation.
