He has claimed Chris Coleman has made him a much better player than he was this time last year, and his inclusion in the Championship Team of the Year is evidence of how his game has come on. This season there has been speculation of a summer move to Wigan Athletic and the Premiership.
He told the Coventry Telegraph the new contract is always at the back of your mind and it would be nice to get it done before the start of pre-season, stating you don't want to be playing and thinking about it, you want to be carefree and not worry about things like that.
