Tony Dinning, who was on loan at Walsall in November 2003 could have played his last games for Chester City. He has been suspended by the club for what was described as an alleged "serious breach of club discipline".
The matter is being dealt with internally, but that the decision had been taken in the best interests of the club. It has been reported the suspension was their involvement in an approach by Inverness Cally Thistle for two of Chester youngsters although this has been denied by the club
Chester Manager has said Dinning does figure in his plans for next season.
