Scunthorpe United look set to be without goalkeeper Joe Murphy for the first month of the season after he was sidelined by a groin injury. He suffered the injury on the training ground and is expected to be out for around six weeks.
Over the summer Murphy announced his desire to leave the club to boost his international aspirations, which were boosted after he kept 24 clean sheets last season round in League One.
He only missed one Championship game last season as the Iron were relegated.
