Former Bolton and Walsall striker on trial at Seagulls

Former three-times-a-Saddler Michael Ricketts has arrived at Brighton Hove Albion on trial ahead of their pre-season game at Havant and Waterlooville.

He is one of three players trying to impress manager Russell Slade with the others being Dan Harding and Danny Spilling.

If successful Ricketts would be coming up against Walsall on the opening day of the season with the Saddlers making the trip to the Withdean Stadium.
