Ex-Walsall keeper has tranfer request acceped

Ex-Walsall goalkeeper Lee Harper is likely to leave Northampton Town in the January transfer window after their manager John Gorman accepted his transfer request.

Harper is known to have has grown disillusioned at his lack of first-team opportunities. At 34 years of age, Harper wants to move to secure first team football.

Harper left Walsall on a free transfer in July 2002.
