Ex-Saddler wins Player of the Month award

Scunthorpe goalkeeper Joe Murphy has been named as League One's player of the month for February.

The other contenders were Tranmere utility man Jason Price, Brighton striker Bas Savage and Yeovil's on-loan Southampton striker Leon Best.

Over the course of February Joe kept three clean sheets and conceeded only two goals. It was a remarkable month for Scunthorpe as they took a maximum 15 points.
