The 19-year-old defenders were at Walsall together, but were both released. Tom joined Kidsgrove directly after being released but Dan went on to play for Witton Albion and Mossley.
Manager Peter Ward, told The Sentinal: "I could have taken Dan earlier in the season, but I had Tom and Charlie Reeves, and I also had to keep an eye on the budget.
"Charlie has gone to Nantwich and, as I am still looking for a centre-back, Dan has now joined us."
Both Schwarz twins played in the 2-2 draw with Mickleover Sports in midweek with the manager's assesment
"Dan thought he could have done better with one of their goals but, overall, he did okay.
"He played at right-back for Witton and, as I thought Danny Smith and Tom Schwarz did well as centre-backs against Leek last Saturday, I decided to keep them together."
Ward said heis grateful that, while the Schwarz boys are identical, identification is made easier by the fact Tom has long hair and Dan short and Tom is left-footed whereas Dan is right.
