MK Dons have completed the loan signing of Northampton Town goalkeeper Lee Harper on a three month loan deal. Harper has gone straight into the squad for MK's visit to The Super Saddlers and looks set to replace Ademola Bankole in goal to line up against us, the League Two leaders.

Harper joined Northampton in the summer of 2002 on a free transfer from ourselves. He started out at non-league Sittingbourne Town before joining Arsenal who paid out £150,000 to secure his services. Being unable to dislodge David Seaman he moved to Queens Park Rangers where he established himself as number one. In the summer of 2001 he moved to Walsall but he faced the impossible task of competing with Jimmy Walker. This limited him to only 5 games for us. After joining Northampton Town he was named the PFA Division 3 Player of the Year in 2003/2004. Over the summer Harper signed a new 1 year contract at Sixfields but had found himself on the bench.
