Ex-Saddler ready to take his side for FA Cup Replay

Ex-Walsall forward David Mehew is preparing his Goucester City side for the trip to Lowestoft Town for their FA Cup 4th Round Qualifier replay on Tuesday (27th October), with the prize of a First Round tie away at Wrexham for the winner on the night.

Mehew commented his side have no fear about going to Crown Meadow this evening where they are likely to come up against a crowd of four figures compared to the 539 who attended on Saturday.

"It's going to be a long journey, but we haven't been beaten away from home since the first week of the season and we'll take confidence from that,"

"If you would have told me that we would be in the hat for the first round when we played Bashley in our first game of the competition we would have taken that."
