The BBC are reporting that Leroy Rosenior was sacked as Torquay manager just ten minutes after officially taking over.

Torquay's former Director of Football, and ex-Walsall manager Colin Lee is believed to be behind a takeover bid at the club, which will see himself reinstated in his previous role with Rosenior serving the shortest ever period as manager ever seen at a professional club. Previously this record was held by Dave Bassett's with his 4 days in charge of Crystal Palace in 1984.

Bateson told Rosenior that he did not know Lee's bid for the club was imminent when he appointed him.
