Ex-Saddler 'free to leave'

Lincoln City have told ex-Walsall striker Gary Birch that he is free to find another club. Birch has failed to break into Lincoln's first team this season and has been loaned out on two occasions, but he only made one start for Tamworth and Hucknall Town.

Last season he scored ten goals from 28 starts and 15 substituew appearancers, which earned a contract extention over the summer.
