Ruddy will spend a month with the League Two strugglers and will be available for their next five games.
Last season Ruddy had loan spells at Walsall, Rushden and Chester and even made a first team appearence for Everton, coming off the bench in the 1-0 Premiership win over Blackburn Rovers.
