Kings Lynn have announced that centre forward, Julian Joachim, has signed a pre contract agreement to play for them in the Conference North this coming season.

The deal will be completed when he is released from his current contract with League Two Darlington on July 1st. JJ became Darlington's most expensive signing when he joined from Boston United in August 2006 for £100,000.

Born 20th September 1974 in Peterborough, Joachim joined Leicester City as a trainee and made his debut in 1992. After making some hundred starts for Leicester he moved to Aston Villa in February 1996 for a £1.5 million fee, Joachim rewarding Villa with thirty-nine goals in ninety league starts.

July 2001 saw the start of a three year stint at Coventry City where 69 appearances reaped 14 goals.

Joachim then moved to Leeds United in the summer of 2004 where the year saw him making a total of 31 appearances scoring two goals. The season ended with a loan spell at Walsall where six goals were scored from eight starts - including a hat-trick against Hull City.

Rather than staying with Walsall, Joachim opted for a move to hometown club Boston United where he spent the 2005-06 season where he went on to score nineteen goals.

With Boston headed for financial ruin in August 2006 Joachim signed for Darlington, making a total of 87 appearances - scoring 16 times.
