Devlin finds a club

Paul Devlin has signed for Dublin side Bohemians. Since leaving the Saddlers, Devlin has kept himself fit by training on his own round the streets of Walmley.

Fully prepared to retire, Devlin was pursueded to continue for one last season - in the Eircon League of Ireland. The team is managed by ex-Aston Villa, Bolton and Everton midfielder Gareth Farrelly.  A player Devlin became friends with when they were second city rivals.

An agreement has been reached whereby Devlin travels to Ireland the day before every game.

The Irish season runs to November, when it is then expected that Devlin will hang up his boots.
