Devlin departs Tamworth

Last updated : 04 October 2006 By Andy Van Hagen
Paul Devlin has left Tamworth after only one month, one start and three substitute appearances.

Once he left Walsall, Devlin cited personal reasons. He later joined friend Gareth Farrelley at Irish side Bohemians. After a couple of months he left them stating that flying to matches was getting to him. Now the former Scotland international is saying he was unable to commit the necessary time to 'the lambs'. Tamworth have classed his departure as release by mutual consent.

Paul Merson joined and left Tamworth in similar circumstances last season after his departure from WS1
