Crystal Palace and Leeds United after former Saddler

Last updated : 30 March 2008 By Andy Van Hagen
The Sunday press have linked former Walsall winger Mark Wright a move to Crystal Palace and Leeds United.

Wright left Walsall in May having been released and MK Dons Manager Paul Ince wasted no time in signing up the title winning Saddler.

Ince has been rewarded for his confidence in Wrights abilities by the player showing the form of his life. 14 goals in 29 starts plus 4 sub appearances has made clubs from League One and the Championship take note. What is remarkable is Wright scored only 9 times for Walsall in 7 years.

Paul Ince is determined fight off interest and sign Wright for an extended stay at Stadium:MK; although press reports this weekend also link Manchester United's Sir Alex offering Ince the chance to join his coaching team. Wrights future could depend on Ince's decision?
