He is on the way back to full fitness following a long standing knee problem and links up with Hucknall in time for their FA Cup Fourth Round Qualifying tie at Kings Lynn on Saturday afternoon. He has been given permission to feature in the tie by Head Coach John Schofield.
Birch's loan spell will run until November 25th 2006.
