Colin Lee set to extend Torquay stay

Torquay United are expected to make a formal announcement on Monday, saying former Walsall manager Colin Lee has agreed a new 'rolling' contract which gives him the extra security he was seeking with his contract set to run out at the end of the season.

Lee, now 53, returned to Torquay in 2007 with Keith Curle when they tried to recreate the Great Escape of 2001 but could not prevent the drop at the second time of asking, it was a mamouth task. Since then Lee, Cheif Executive, has improved the club off-the-field and has help them put in an infrastructure to help them sustain League Football at Plainmoor.
