After leaving the Saddlers, Fox was quickly called up to the England Under 21's by Stuart Pearce, along with Scott Dann.
However following his move to Celtic in July where he has impressed and made the position his own, Scotland manager George Burley has managed to get him to swith his allegiance. Fox qualifies for Scotland through his Scottish grandparent.
Scotland travel to Japan for the October 10 Kirin Challenge Cup clash and with Scotland now looking to the future, Burley is experimenting with his qualification campaign for Euro 2012 in mind. At 23 years of age, Fox could be the future long term left back?
