The Evening Mail is today reporting that the earlier story of West Bromwich Albion preparing a bid for Matty Fryatt in January is false.
The story was in the Daily Mirror who are in the same group of newspapers as the Mail. The latter state 'West Brom have today dismissed reports that they are to make a £2.5million bid for Leicester's Matty Fryatt.
It was claimed this morning that the Baggies were keen to sign the ex-Walsall striker and would be testing Leicester's resolve with a New Year bid.'
