43 year old ex-Saddler to play again!!

Ex-Saddler Steve Claridge is to come out of retirement at the age of 43 to play for former club Weymouth, for whom he was once player-manager.

Playing for free he will feature in their Blue Square South against Bromley on Saturday 5th September.

Claridge played 1,008 matches in a career spanning more than 20 years, and was denied the chance for his 1000th game while at Walsall, he was given that by his local club Bournemouth
