The 22-year-old midfielder was withdrawn just before Saturday's kick-off against Boston United after suffering pain in the joint. Jones was scheduled to have a scan on Tuesday and the results should reveal the extent of the injury. The fear is that Jones hassuffered cartilage damage - an injury that would require surgery and a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Wrexham suffered a 4-0 defeat on Saturday without their goalscoring midfielder and host Walsall on Saturday.
