David Tuttle Swindon's head of youth and scouting director declined the opportunity to take the role. In a situation similar to Mick Halsall's at the end of last season; Tuttle said

"I am committed to Swindon Town and want to continue developing my current role with the youth team and scouting here. The club is the most important thing and I have made an honest decision".
