Trouble in the Darlington camp?

Darlington have played down reports that there has been a fall-out between boss David Hodgson and chief Jon Sotnick.

Sotnick was caught on camera booing against Torquay during a game that Quakers registered their first point in five games.

Sotnick has publicly expressed his frustration at the club's recent poor run after backing Hodgson in the transfer market with a string of summer signings, including the club record arrival of striker Julian Joachim from Sotnick's former club Boston.

The Julian Joachim transfer is believed to be the catalyst for a series of fallings out between the manager and his bosses. After the arrival of Joachim Hodgson was quoted:

"George (the Chairman) has wanted to buy a player from the moment he took control of the club and it was his decision to bring him here. There's no return on the financial side for us because when Julian's contract expires in two years time he'll most probably return to Boston and finish his career there"

A club spokesman said: "Reports over the weekend have not been wholly accurate. As far as the club are concerned it is business as usual."

However there is no smoke without fire and it looks like this might be a bit of a time bomb waiting to go off?
