Swindon striker leaves on work experience, but can still play League One

Swindon Town striker Ashan Holgate has joined Salisbury City on work experience in a hope of gaining some more first-team experience.

The 19-year-old made his Robins debut in April 2005 and has featured this term for the first team. This seasons record

He made his debut for Southern Premier League leaders Salisbury on Saturday as they won 2-1 at Banbury United but the nature of the work experience deal means he can still play both reserve and first-team football for Swindon Town.
