Swindon miss CVA deadline

Swindon Town have missed the deadline to make a final payment of £900,000 to their creditors. In 2002 when the club entered Company Voluntary Agreement the club made an agreement to make payment before 30 June 2007. This agreement allowed the club to leave administration, however June 30th 2007 has now passed with no payment being made.

It is unclear what is likely to happen now. The club are reassuring supporters there is no cause for concern, while it is expected the club will settle debts in the next week.
