Ex-Walsall manager Richard Money has rejected Swindon Town's offer of first team manager.
It had been whispered he had quit his position heading up Newcastle United's Youth Academy during the week but this now seems not to be the case. The stumbling block appears to be Swindon could not match his wages earned at the Premiership club.
Swindon are now expected to make an approach for Gary Speed who is currently recovering from a back injury. It was the club's wish to have a manager in place for the game vs Yeovil but it now looks like the club are back to square one in the hunt for the new manager
