Swindon agree to Wise release, Caretaker named

Leeds United have agreed a deal with Swindon Town allowing them to speak with Dennis Wise and his assistant Gus Poyet about their hot seat vacancy.

After giving permission earlier on Monday, Swindon then withdrew permission after Leeds had failed to meet demands. The pair have a clause in their contracts stating they can speak to any Championship or Premiership clubs who are willing to pay the value of their one year contracts.

Swindon offered both Wise and Poyet improved terms in a bid to keep them at the club, but Wise and Poyet have rejected this offer and will now end their short stay at The County Ground. Dave Tuttle has been named as Swindon Caretaker Manager.
