Swansea sign loan defender

League One promotion hopefuls and Sunday's opponents, Swansea City have signed Gillingham defender Brent Sancho. Initially the deal is for one month but this could be extended to the end of the season or possibly permanently should he be a success.

Swansea needed defensive reinforcements because Kris O'Leary has a two match suspension to serve for a red card he recieved on Saturday. Sancho should make his debut on Sunday against ourselves.

The 28 year old Trinidad and Tabago international fell out of favour with Gillingham after he was involved in a club Vs country tug-of-war.
