Swansea sign a dingle

Swansea have signed 20 year old Wolves defender Keith Lowe on a months loan.

Swansea have been desperate to bring in defensive cover this week because Kristian O'Leary is curently serving a suspension after his sending off last week. Regular centre back Kevin Austin is also missing with knee ligament damage.

Their attemps to sign Gillingham defender Brent Sancho fell through after Swansea learnt they would have to re-apply the players work permit. Something that would keep the Trinidad and Tobago international out of action for four games.

Swansea tried to sign Lowe earlier this week but their requests were knocked back by Wolves manager Glenn Hoddle. He later had a change of heart and decided to reconsider, believing the move would be good experience for the young player.
