Bristol Rovers still plan to redevelop their stadium next season but the build has been further delayed because the club wants to play pre-season games.

It is planned Rovers will host two high-profile friendlies at the Memorial Stadium before moving to a temporary home, while the re-development takes place.

Their new home has still yet to be announced with Bristol City ruling out the possibility of using Ashton Gate. It looked like Cheltenham's Whaddon Road would become their new 'home' but after going back on last sesons deal it is now not certain. Swindon's County Ground is another option but it is not the fans wish to share at their rivals. Yeovil may be another option with a M5 south journey for home games.
