Oldham sign ex-Wolves striker from Verona

Oldham have signed 21 year old striker Craig Davies from Verona for an undisclosed fee. He spent last season on loan at Wolves and joining Verona in Jaunuary 2006. It surprised everyone when the Italian side plucked him from Oxford United in a £85,000 move, but the player found it hard to settle in Italy which enforced the double move away.

Davis, who has been capped four times by Wales, signed a two-year contract at Boundary Park.
