Lincoln City have announced they have agreed terms with Nottingham Forest, which will see striker Spencer Weir-Daley join the Imps on a three-month loan deal on January 1st. The 93 day loan will will run until April 3rd 2007.

Twenty One year old, Leicester-born Weir-Daley, worked his way through Forest's Youth Academy and, after being highly successful in the youth team and reserves. He made his first team debut for Forest in a League Cup tie against Macclesfield in August 2005.

He went on to enjoy a goalscoring Football League debut as a substitute in a 3-1 win at Gillingham and came off the bench a further eight times in Coca-Cola League One last season.

His debut season ended dissappointingly, as he was ruled out for the second half of last season due to a shoulder injury. In September Weir-Daley joined Macclesfield on loan and went on to score twice in seven League appearances for the Silkmen. He returned to Forest shortly after the arrival of Paul Ince.
