Leeds set to sign ANOTHER League One Loanee

Last updated : 06 January 2008 By Andy Van Hagen
Leeds United have agreed a fee with Luton Town for Dean Morgan. The player believes he will agree terms on Monday and sign for a 'dream' club.

Morgan has spent a two month loan spell with Southend United and although having described himself as a goal provider, rather than scorer on his arrival, he chipped in with five goals during his time at Roots Hall. Including two goals in yesterday's 5-2 FA Cup Third Round win against Dagenham and Redbridge.

Luton Town are in deep financial trouble and are keen for the sale to go through as quick as possible to fend off the threat of closure. Today's FA Cup tie with Liverpool will further boost the coffers and their chance of survival but the club are angered by Liverpool not allowing them to keep their share of the gate money.

Luton boss Kevin Blackwell has also said the football family, FA and Football League "haven't helped the club one bit" in their current financial struggle
