Leeds Points Deduction Upheld!!

Leeds have lost their appeal against a 15-point deduction for the start of the new season. They will start the season with minus 15 points.

The seventy one Football League Chairmen voted "overwhelmingly" at a meeting in London to uphold the original punishment. It is believed over 75% of Chairmen voted against them.

Ken Bates, the Leeds Chairman insists they had not broken any rules. He sent a letter to all Football league chairmen, arguing that the punishment was a "breach of natural justice". The letter is available to view at:
