League 2 Manager of January contenders announced

The Football League have announced the names of the four managers up for January's 'Manager of the Month' award.

In reality TV stylee - in no particular order the nomanies are:

Paul Sturrock (Swindon),
Danny Wilson (Hartlepool),
Paul Trollope (Bristol Rovers),
Jim Gannon (Stockport County).

As always Chris Kamara will announce the winner of the award on Sky Sports News on Thursday at 12.30.

Walsall fans may hope Danny Wilson wins the award, hoping he will inherrit the 'curse' of the Manager of the Month title. Walsall travel up to Hartlepool United on Saturday.
