Hereford sign Stoke City's Eustace

John Eustace has signed for League Two's Hereford United on a month's loan. The move comes following Tony Pulis boosting his own midfield with three loan signings, Rory Delap from Sunderland, Salif Diao from Liverpool and Lee Hendrie from Aston Villa.

Stoke had been considering the option of sending Eustace out on loan to regain match fitness before returning to the Stoke starting eleven. The former Coventry man has made two substitute appearances for Stoke this season against Darlington and Southend United; although he hasn't played regular first team football since picking up an injury against Wigan Athletic back at the start of 2004.

The temporary switch looks a good move for both clubs at this point in time, as Eustace is in desperate need of games to regain full fitness and Stoke have just signed 3 midfielders on loan. Eustace Lives in Sutton Coldfield so the move allows him to commute from his family home.
