Hartlepool United have announced the signing of Craig Hignett. The experienced front man has been training with the table toppers over the last few months and has played two reserve team games for the club. 
Hignett has not played a senior game since scoring for Darlington in the 3-3 draw with Bristol Rovers twelve months ago.
