Hartlepool United have made Football League history by levelling a record for consecutive WINS without conceding.

Only two Football League teams had previously managed this feat - Wigan in 2001/2002 and Barnsley in 1954/1955.

Millwall, York and Reading (11), Charlton (10, and Leeds and Chelsea (9) have all enjoyed longer runs of clean sheets but all have had 0-0 draws which prevented the winning sequence reaching eight.

Danny Wilson's side have also smashed Hartlepool's club record for consecutive league wins by going nine in a row this season.
