Constantine replaces Spencer at Cheltenham

Cheltenham Town have signed Leon Constantine on loan to replace Damien Spencer who has joined Brentford on loan.

With finances at Whaddon Road in serious trouble and the club fighting off the threat of both adminstration and relegation the whole squad has been made available for transfer. With the loan window fast approaching the clubs better players have been leaving the non-stop revolving door out the club.

Ian Westlake and Asley Vincent have also gone but 'Robins' Manager Allen is pleased having been able to recruit Constantine to replace Spencer, highlighting it was only a couple of seasons ago his new signing scored 20 for a struggling Port Vale. It took the striker just 5 minutes to score for his new side in the 2-2 draw at Huddersfield.

After a winless twelve game run (ten of which weredefeats), Cheltenham visit Banks's Stadium next weekend having with 7 points from last 9.
