Town are facing financial pressure following the collapse of the proposed Best Holdings takeover last week. Paul Sturrock is contacting as many people within the game as he can in a bid to find his players new homes. A friendly was arranged with Cardiff City on Tuesday to give players a chance to impress an invited audience of managers.
Amongst the players to be shown the door are the Best Holdings-acquired trio of Ibon Arrieta, Franklin Anzite and Mauro Almeida are among those who will leave.
