Barnet's underhill ground given OK

Barnet's famous slope at Underhill has been given the all-clear by the Football League's annual general meeting.

Speaking to Barnet's official website Chairman Tony Kleanthous explained "They have made our slope the maximum acceptable".

This ensures that Underhill further meets League criteria however by next May the club must improve segregation, improve facilities and add 1,000 covered seating, costly proceses for a League Two club.

One option that the club are looking at is to relocate outside the borough of Barnet. "We understand that following over a decade of attempts to secure the long-term future of the club within the borough that time has now come to explore alternative viable sites outside of the Borough" the Chairman added. The club will be looking to relocate within the maximum range limit allowed bt the Football Association.
