After watching his side draw 1-1 with Walsall at the National Hockey Stadium on Sunday, MK Dons manager Martin Allen told his club's website www.mkdons.co.uk:
"I am not naffed off that we never managed to win that game yesterday. It was a fantastic effort by all our players and with that commitment for the next seven matches I would be more than happy"
Allen was speaking from Spain after arranging a few days away at short notice. The trip is designed for team bonding and has been funded by the players themselves. Those who did not pay up, did not travel and that exercise was described as a test by the MK gaffer.
