Administration for Luton

Luton Town have been deducted 10 points after being placed into administration.

The directors of the club decided to appoint administrators as a result of the Hatters' decreasing income. The timing is awful just a week after the FA announced they were investigating 50 transfers.

In order for Luton to continue trading in the short term, chairman David Pinkney has agreed to fund trading losses until the conclusion of a sales process. The club are on the lookout for prospective buyers.

Luton are now bottom of League One after their ten point deduction.
