Released Saddler in Aberdeen trial

Last updated : 17 May 2008 By Andy Van Hagen
Bertrand Bossu, released by Walsall this summer has arrived at Aberdeen on trial.

The SPL side have decided to take an extended look at the keeper who has been back-up to Clayton Ince since arriving at the Banks's Stadium two years ago. The one time Bossu was called upon at first team level was when he kept a clean sheet in our away 0-0 draw at Chester City. Bossu can be considered unlucky not to get a further chance to prove his worth, but so good was Ince's form, this chance never came his way.

Since arriving in England, the giant Bossu has always played the role of back-up keeper while at league clubs. His only season of No.1 football came while with Hayes where he made 36 appearances.
